# Microbial Pathogens

This section is for bacteria-focused pathogen content with oncology relevance.

The first live section is [**Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fn)**](/myhealingcommunity-docs/pathogens/microbial-pathogens/fusobacterium-nucleatum-fn-a-powerful-oncobacterium.md).

That focus matters because Fn keeps appearing in cancer discussions around biofilms, oral sources, immune evasion, and treatment resistance.

### Current focus

Current content covers:

* oral source burden
* tumour targeting
* gut ecology
* antimicrobial options
* berberine
* EGCG and related polyphenols
* **L. reuteri** as a targeted support organism

### What will expand next

This section can house:

* bacterial overviews with cancer-specific relevance
* cancer-type breakdowns for key pathogens
* oral and gut source discussions
* biofilm-focused support pages
* testing and interpretation pages
* remediation-adjacent protocol notes
* clinician-supervised support pages

The next planned additions are **Fn by cancer type** pages and a full **L. reuteri** deep dive.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://myhealingcommunity.gitbook.io/myhealingcommunity-docs/pathogens/microbial-pathogens.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
